If you follow Obama the Kenyan's political career, he did this at every stage - had his opponent removed from the ballot for one reason or another.

Sadly, I don't think the people will do anything. They showed themselves to be complete cowards over the virus hoax. However, if Trump's plan is to force them to remove him from the ballot in order to call in the military, that's something else.
